Well our first real ANIMATION inspiration was, I guess, television cartoons and stuff. Like Oggy and the Cockroaches... But we'd been drawing cartoons and stuff for a long time before animating anything, and those cartoons contained computer game characters and stories lol, from games like Boom, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and Total Annihilation. Lol, again.
So, on Newgrounds and stuff, we stole Yotam Perels style! :D Seriously, we loved his humor and style and stuff, still do.
